Panda Free is built around wireless use. There is no cable limiting the clinician’s movement during scanning, which can make the treatment area easier to manage, especially in busy rooms or when the scanner is shared between different chairs.

The built-in battery supports up to 3.5 hours of continuous use. That gives the practice enough working time for multiple scans before the device needs to be recharged, without turning the scanner into a heavy handpiece.

Its 18 × 16 mm scan field allows the scanner to capture more anatomy in a single pass. Combined with a 0–20 mm scan depth, this helps the clinician work across different intraoral areas, including deeper or less accessible zones.

The handpiece weighs only 178 g and measures 241 × 30 × 28 mm. This matters in daily use: a lighter scanner is easier to hold steady, easier to reposition and less tiring during longer scanning sessions.

Panda Free also uses low-entry level tips, which helps keep routine consumable costs more manageable for clinics using the scanner regularly.
